Universal Materials Tester

This tester (UMT-3) is used to characterize the tribological performance of the surface. The system can simulate the experimental conditions for various friction pairs, such as point-point, point-surface, surface-surface, and has multiple modules, for instance, the ball-plate model, the pin-plate model, the ring-ring model, etc. The motion modes include reciprocation and rotation, etc. The three-dimensional force transducer collects on-line friction force and loads.
